1. Take tourism beyond ‘Sun- Sand-Sea’ -CM, Goa.
“Earlier the tourism concept was only ‘Sun-Sand- Sea’, now we have to take this concept beyond it. Only government can’t do it, people of the state will have to take responsibility for it. We can create infrastructure in remote areas, however, the tourism activities will have to be created by PPP model,” said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at the ‘Cashew Festival’ organised by Forest Development Corporation.
2. India among top destinations for medical tourism: Union Minister of Tourism.
During the second G20 Health Working Group meeting Shripad Naik, Union Minister of Tourism said that India figures among the top destinations for medical tourism, with more than 1.4 million medical tourists visiting the country in the past one year. He also urged delegates to collectively contribute to a more holistic and sustainable approach to global health.

3. The longest road in the world to walk, is from Cape Town (South Africa) to Magadan (Russia).

4. IICC Dwarka to showcase India as top destination for Global M!CE: Kant
Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa- India, has said that he recently visited the IICC Dwarka Project along with Team G20 and took stock of the progress of works. “It will showcase India as a leading destination for the Global MICE market,” he added sharing his views.
5. Vietnam Airlines to launch services to Mumbai from May 20
Vietnam Airlines will operate four flights per week on the Hanoi Mumbai route, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and three flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City Mumbai route, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on Airbus A321.
6. Japan to launch new visa track for skilled foreign workers
Under the new measure, the Japanese govt will grant visas to foreign applicants and introduce preferential treatment for those who meet certain conditions, such as having an annual income of ¥20 million ($151,000) and a master’s degree. Under the govt’s current points-based system, points are allocated according to categories that include academic, employment backgrounds & annual income.
